Clawed back in the final minutes to tie game on 3 with 5 seconds but then Tony Carr drains 40ish ft banker to win 82-79

going to be jacked up to return home..not going to be good for Rutgers

The wins by Illinois and State Penn the past two nights have been pretty damaging to RU.

We’d better figure out how to win one of the next two games or we could be back in last place pretty soon.

Let's see if PSU can back up its great win with a victory over RU.

One of the toughest things to do in sports is back up a great win with another win.

I like RU's chances on Saturday.

Since around 4:00 this afternoon I'd been looking forward to tOSU handing PSU a beatdown because a PSU beatdown is one of my joys in life. And yet again I am disappointed. FML. I hope we shoot reasonably well Saturday. It's hard to defend us since we don't do anything especially well, so teams kind of have to cover all the bases "just in case." Today PSU guarded the perimeter against tOSU because that is how tOSU kills teams. We don't do anything well on offense except rebound, which is attributable to us missing shots. If we hit some shots (think: SHU and MSU), we can win Saturday. Scrappy teams have no specific identity, nothing to specifically shut down, so if we find a groove we can win because of our defense. But I am going to bed disappointed at tOSU losing.

maybe if they were playing at RU but they are playing at home, yeah I know they have no atmosphere there but I think this will be an ugly loss for RU

It really helped PSU getting Reaves back today after missing a few weeks with academic issues.

This board is ridiculous sometimes. We win a big game (I.e Seton Hall), we should worry about the next game cuz it’s a “trap” game. Our upcoming opponent wins a big game, we should still be the ones worrying because they’ll be hyped. Long story short, we should be worried no matter what happens. I mean, sure, we can worry because they are probably better than us, but because they recently won a big game and will be hyped? You guys are full of bologna. If anything, it’s the other way around for that specific reason.

Posters can be ridiculous sometimes. One poster hypes the upside and downside of a trap game, so the claims the whole board is ridiculous.

It’s also ‘Thon weekend at the Hoops game which usually nets them a decent crowd.

They haven't been drawing big crowds. This along with what could have been a demoralizing loss having a big lead against OSU could have been a positive to Rutgers. If you don't think these things add up ask the guys running those distracting videos shown during opposing team workouts at the RAC.

You would be hard pressed to find 2 better games last night than OSU-PSU and Michigan vs Purdue

Mich shoots 60 % from the floor-----55% from 3 and loses.

Two of the best games all year. Will be interesting with PSU and Nebraska fighting for bids. Michigan fighting for seed.

More proof you need some shooters. Purdue and Michigan shooting was amazing.

Never was aware Tony Carr was a first round draft prospect until yesterday. Good for him.

Haha there is cliche or narrative for every sports situation. The only one I give any credibility to is a big home win followed by a road game.
