Seems that way ... thought it was interesting that the have Levi as a bigger favorite than Mitchell or Mendez.
I guess they didn't consult Carter.

I only checked 125 and 133 but the expected number of champions based on their odds is 1.5 - 1.6, meaning they are paying out much worse than expected based on true odds.

The odds moved a lot from original lines. LL started at +110, now -250. Mendez started -200 (hit this hard), now -500. PJ started +150 ((hit this one too), now -300. MM started-400, now -700. Barr started -250 (hit this hard), now -700.

Iowa and Iowa St wrestlers lost seasons to gambling and some former Rutgers wrestlers are facing prison for running book. Draftkings needs to be kept as far away from wrestling as possible.
But wouldn’t you have to submit a physical address at some point?
I realize they take wagers on wrestling. I still don't have to like it. We saw a huge federal bust of college BB players throwing games/prop bets. Wrestling has always had upsets but do you really want to have to question every upset was the loser sick, injured or throwing the match?
Chris Vargo, who has turned out to be a pretty average college wrestler at Edinboro, pulled off what's turning out to be the biggest upset in PA high school history when he knocked off Jax Forrest at regionals two years ago. I look at that as a great gameplan against an overconfident Forrest but if there was huge money on that match, I'd probably raise an eyebrow at it.
Officials aren't immune either. Look at what Donahey has admitted in the NBA. One reaction time call can change a dual or an entire tournament, one extra stall call...
Individual match betting doesn't typically occur until NCAAs. During the year its lines on duals. Max bets are low not like anyone can make huge $. With NIL and rev share athletes are making $ most wouldn't throw an important match for 1K.
No idea. Guarantee there's a work around, though. Link a bank account for payments, and use a fake address?
I actually never go near online betting of any sort ... all I have is a wager with a neighbor on 157. Just thought some of the odds were pretty strange.
They were throwing basketball games recently post NIL including at Arizona St. And with wrestling, very few are making NIL so a couple of guys in the SoCon or MAC winning by decision instead of bonus can throw that line and no one would be the wiser. They were training through that dual...
But to claim that NIL will keep wrestlers from throwing matches anyway is naive at best. MLB players got caught throwing prop bets and MLB has a minimum salary of $780,000 a year.
Even low max bets doesn't stop them as they controlled hundreds of accounts in one of the basketball busts.
I just can't think of a single sport that gambling has made better.
No wonder Penn St is winning everyone is throwing the matches
. I don't look at it the same as you do. Will always have some people take advantage. But my opinion is it's a small %No, that doesn't work. Gambling apps require access to your phone's actual GPS tracking info. They're way ahead of people using VPNs
Yep I know people who drive 30 min to another state just to place bets. I never got into sports gambling although I should I gave out picks this year in a group chat and people made a bunch of $
I’m so cynical that I think if you succeed in fooling them, then they’ll take your money when you lose, but if you ever win big, they’ll use enhanced verification and find an excuse to not pay you.

I don't bet on line at all. Maybe 4 times a year I go to Mt Airy and play a few sports book bets. Going out the door, I'll throw a couple bucks on roulette (No thinking ,pretty fair odds). I wonder if you can bet on wrestling at Casino sports book . I think the odds posted are not a good bet. With injuries and the potential of a big move changing a match dramatically it's a tough sport to bet on .
I do have a work around
on GPS location for You Tube TV. My daughter lives in Pennsylvania near Delaware River which is a Philadelphia (Eagles) market location. If I go over Portland Bridge and drive towards Blair Academy my You Tube app will hit on Jersey tower which resets You Tube to New York market (Jets ,Giants). Typically my phone will stay on that tower resetting my daughters account so we can watch those games.

It's incredibly prevalent in Gen-Z. Young men aren't drinking, but they are betting on everything. I work with a few younger guys who practically live on Polymarket and Kalshi.
