Our kicking game is very good. LeBlanc our kicker has a leg. A few 60 yd punts this year as well as a 45 yd fg. He is very good. Now as far as kick of team goes as tacklers on the chance LeBlanc doesn't kick it out of the endzone they are a little shaky. Skyline returned a kickoff on us which LeBlanc kicked the ball to the 1. A Few other kicks were returned to around midfield. Not many but enough to say that could be an issue if LeBlanc miss hits. As far as punt team goes it mostly our starters out there so their coverage is very goodDraft isn’t what they were last year and have been a little Jekyll and Hyde and times. That said they have a solid defense and enough diversity on offense to be capable of competing with most of the Region. My curiosity is around the special teams. Draft has a very good punter and kicker (missed opportunities against Riverheads aside). How does CC look on special teams? My opinion is the one his aspect may play very important either either or both teams are playing high level defense on the night.
Hopefully it will be. Nothing better than playoff football with 2 good teams on the fieldIt truly sounds like it will be a very good 4/5 game with both teams matching up well.
If Clarke can cut out the penalties they can play with anyone even if they are very young team but I think they need there QB not sure if he is playingHopefully it will be. Nothing better than playoff football with 2 good teams on the field
Last I heard he was not. Also the game moving up a day probably doesn't help that.If Clarke can cut out the penalties they can play with anyone even if they are very young team but I think they need there QB not sure if he is playing
There was a brutal hit on one of Clarke's defensive guys, #51 I think. Got the snot knocked out of him. Pissed me off that the fans were yelling at the ref that it was a blind side hit. It wasn't. It was a clean hit. The QB for Draft hit him good and clean. Good game by Draft. Clarke has young guys and too many play both ways. Not ready for Primetime yet. Good seeing you Gunz! Safe travels!Clarke's play-calling is as predictable as it gets. Do they even have a hurry-up version of whatever they run? Just a clock-burning bore-fest when they have the ball. They turn the ball over, commit penalties, cramp up, they are out of shape. Worse yet, they got pushed around by Strasburg, Luray, Woodstock, and now Draft. One and done again. Soccer school. SMH
Good game by both teams. Clarke looked really good at times but seemed a little out of sync. Draft settled in and did what they do. A few more mistakes in the kicking game by Draft that could bite them in the next round. There was a brutal hit on one of Clarke's defensive guys, #51 I think. Got the snot knocked out of him.
