Sorry to see this. I was sorry to see Dre leave and was looking forward to Tae’s arrival. Best wishes to them both.
I have no insider info, but I heard Dre was welcome to come back but that CKP wasn't keen on bringing his brother in so they both decided to leave to play together.
That said I loved Dres heart and hustle. Unfortunately his skill set was very limited and he was more of a traditional PF in an SF body. Still I wish them both well.

We’re gonna have to get used to us not seeking players like Dre and Tae. The bar has been raised.
I liked Dre’s hustle as well he always played with a lot of heart.
We are about to get what so many wanted ……a level of talent that compares to UK. For too long the disparity in physical talent between UL and the likes of UK, UNC and Duke has been too wide to overcome on the court………that now appears to be changing.
