I know some of you guys have a lot of time on your hands, passion, and knowledge about football workings. Who should we look for in the coach openings ? Dream team , reality hires , possibilites, etc. I need something to hope for.

Maybe not a real popular name these days, but how about Turner Gill as QB coach? We had tremendous QB play last time he was in that role, but I'm not sure he'd like to take on that responsibility these days.
If I were Frost and I wanted to succeed. I would literally fund my assistant coaches with my own salary.
20 million made at Nebraska, some 4 to 5 mil made at UCF...he's not in danger of starving.
I would just throw my own paycheck into getting the absolute best. Keep only the bonuses for bowl appearances as my incentive.

Call me crazy, but I like the idea of the oc from army. Obviously adapt it to more to our talent level, including the passing game. Then either whoever he wants, with perhaps Jeff Grimes as the ideal grab for oline. Doubt he'd just up and leave Baylor though. He could very well be the next head coach for Washington State or a school of that calibur.
Fair point. I guess the QB coach would likely be up to the OC to hire, based on his preferred style of offense. I wonder what type of offense they go to next.
He hasn't coached the position in 20 years, so not a typical move, except he was prominent Husker of the past.
