I think they already pulled Ayala shirt close to the start of the season. Perhaps they sensed this was coming for a while but Spencer was exhausting his options to make it back.

Yea he lost by the same score yesterday to the kid from Minnesota that Drew did for 3rd and 4th at Nationals. Drew will get better in our room though. Hopefully wrestling Gilman and RBY a lot.

Ybarra wrestled the first few matches before Spencer’s return. I don’t think that Ayala has had an official/attached match yet. Iowa’s official site has him listed as unattached for the Scuffle.

Yeah, Ayala is still on redshirt but looked really good taking 3rd at the Scuffle. I expect they will pull his redshirt and IMHO at NCAAs this season he will be somewhere between 5th and R12, which will be a significant drop in points vs Lee expected to be first.
