They were less than 10 years removed from one of the most disturbing scandals in the history of the game when they grabbed a 3 seed and made a sweet 16. And 11 years later they're even stronger. Drew has done one of the all-time great jobs with that program.
Im actually trying to figure out how Baylor was a accepted by Texas to be part of the group to move to Big 12 but other Texas schools were not
Amazing. A program located in the middle of nowhere that had one of its players murder the other and the coach help cover it up and keep the kid on the team. Barely to be outdone by the same athletic program later covering up multiple sexual assault charges among its athletes.
That same program now the best at men's and women's bball.

as I understand, Baylor survived because the Governor in Texas at the time (I think BU alum) pushed hard to keep them in.
The political climate has alot to do with it. Rutgers nor our corrupt NJ media would have stood for any of the paths that Baylor took
