Say what you will about Dave Matthews Band, but Carter Beauford is a hell of a drummer. He'd make my list.

One of my favorites not mentioned, Levon Helm. Decent drummer but I always thought it was cool he did vocals too.

Grohl is in my Top 5 or 6. But Willy asked for 3 so he didn't make my list...even though willy listed about 8 drummers in his own list in his OP. smh
