I'd vote for the 7 yr old if he held one drum stick different than the other........
Say what you will about Dave Matthews Band, but Carter Beauford is a hell of a drummer. He'd make my list.

One of my favorites not mentioned, Levon Helm. Decent drummer but I always thought it was cool he did vocals too.

Grohl is in my Top 5 or 6. But Willy asked for 3 so he didn't make my list...even though willy listed about 8 drummers in his own list in his OP. smh

If we're going to pull the jazz guys in, it's time to show the session guys like Bernard "Pretty" Purdie and Steve Gadd some love too.
