Not sure when @JCHILLTOPPERS will resurface, but the final DSR will look much different than week 8 (our last DSR).
Any thoughts from fellow panel members?

I'm not a panel member, but if I may be allowed to express a thought I would only say woe unto those voters who allow themselves to get caught up in the ICCP hype (assuming they run the table) and give the Knights even a #10 vote.

What about Prairie Ridge? You've been critical of their inclusion in the past. If they continue to dominate to the extent they have thus far, you may have to admit that you were....gulp....wrong about them. IMO, they are clearly one of the top teams in the state, even though they play in lowly 6A. Then again, if they lose to DeKalb or possibly SHG (who then would crack the DSR), I reserve the right to say nevermind.I'm not a panel member, but if I may be allowed to express a thought I would only say woe unto those voters who allow themselves to get caught up in the ICCP hype (assuming they run the table) and give the Knights even a #10 vote.
You mean the ICCP that beat a 6A semi-finalist, who in turn beat a 7A semi-finalist?
How would IC not be top 10?
That really shouldn't ever be a question posed by a DSR voter. The fact that you posed the question the way you did means you are already caught up in the hype and you are looking for reasons not to include them as opposed to looking for reasons why they should be included.
Was it the 49-8 win over St Joe-Ogden or the 65-0 win over Paxton-Buckley-Loda that caused you to hop on the ICCP bandwagon?
Seriously, nobody had ICCP ranked in the last edition of the DSR. What have they done since then other than breeze through the 3A playoffs against three schools that are all less than 500 students? ICCP hasn't played any school larger than 1618 students (6A) this season. That should be reason enough not to include them in the DSR top 10.
The easy answer to your question is because most of the already eliminated 7A and 8A teams, and many 5A and 6A teams, are better than ICCP. Right?
While there is no question they are a great multiplied 3A school, I think they would be well matched against the top tier 4A teams like Phillips, Althoff, Rochester, HHS, etc.
If ICCP wins 3A and Benet wins 7A, does the above mean you're gonna vote ICCP above Benet in the DSR?
Not gonna happen.
