A few observations:

Just watched the DVR'd Provi/MC game. MC has issues on offense. Was not impressed with their O-line. Provi's defense dominated MC's offense, allowing only one offensive TD. The MC QB throws a nice ball but is not a great runner, which is essential for their offense. They also continue to turn the ball over. It's week 3. That shouldn't be happening as often as it is. IMO, MC has not lived up to their preseason billing. They may drop in my DSR rankings.

Hins. Central may crack my DSR. They have been very impressive and destroyed 2-0 DGN last night. NV is very good. That was an impressive win against WV last night. The DVC is going to complicate DSR voting this year. I'm not sure how anyone can rank Stevenson in the DSR. They gave up 35 to 0-2 LZ last night and squeaked out a 38-35 victory. Their defense is not good enough to warrant DSR ranking, IMO. Naz was impressive and is on the cusp. Libertyville is as well.

Huge DSR implications in the Loyola/BR and Simeon/Phillips games. If Phillips beats Simeon, I think they deserve DSR recognition. Right now, I'm inclined to say MC is clearly #3 in the CCL Blue power rankings. We shall see how the Loyola/BR game plays out. Both have been much more impressive than MC, especially Loyola.

watched the NV WV game. We all missed on NV. They look like the exact same teams, but ultimately, NV executed more and more effectively.

Dean was right, last night when he texted me, NV should be good, they have 29,000 students...

HC and NV make mine. I think Naz is going to have to as well...I will have to figure out how to drop at least two teams....stevie is one.

boy, what to do with MC now. I new warfield was out, but did not know he missed 3+ quarters. I wanted to give MC credit for the shut out, but the shut out is mostly meaningless since warfield was not lined up. This is a real tough one.

as dean said, 7-10 this week is as hard as its ever been.
