Any guess as to why he is tight lipped on this issue or just a rookie move until he feels more confident in discussing his team? Even Cael isn't that tight lipped, and he's a mute.

He asked him point blank about the lineup this weekend, but gave him an out, which DT took
This was the first time I've listened to Rex in a bit and it was rough...
I listened again and Rex did not ask him point blank. He asked, "Are you taking a few guys this weekend and is your lineup set in stone." Obviously the lineup is set in stone for 8 weights so the only two weights not set in stone are 33 and 41. Rex did not ask about either of those weights or even who would be on the trip. David made an off the cuff remark about keeping the other coaches guessing and that was the end of the lineup conversation. We did not learn anything new or newsworthy in this interview in my opinion.
I'm sure DT was just concerned that Rex might actually swallow the microphone and he’d have to perform the Heimlich

I don’t think he’s as terrible as some of yall make him out to be lol. He’s not great by any means but he’s ok. Probably doesn’t like asking hard questions because he doesn’t want to piss off the coaches. Also; it could be worse (Robert Allen)

I think RA is best consumed when you realize he’s the Minister of Propaganda for OSU athletics (and specifically Mike Gundy). I’m sure he’s a nice guy but good Lord are his questions hard to listen to.

What was the one he asked DT a couple of weeks ago that made DT look around the room in disbelief? I remember hearing it at the time and wanting to die from secondhand embarrassment
I might be remembering it wrong but I think he asked Lutz if he’d understand a football analogy at one point lol.
RA needs to go along with some football staff. He’s an embarrassment to the school. Retire already with your round about questions and sunshine pumping.
