Just curious are there any names that they are considering for our D-line coach yet?

One guy has been mentioned but I can't remember his name. I think he's an assistant line coach for a pro team and is well regarded in some circles. Someone jump in here and help a brotha out.

Honest question: What does CIgnetti’s staff look like? Everyone knows the final four coaches are from the Saban tree. When does Cignetti start getting his coaches plucked for a promotion at another school?

I know his two coordinators make really good money now and maybe are both waiting to be the next IU coach? Cigs is only going to coach for 4-5 more years and he will 100% get to handpick his replacement.

With that said, I would try and hire either of his coordinators in a second, but they have been with him for a long time...not like Rhule who hires dudes that he has to fire 14 seconds later.

Last night during the game the TV guys were talking about how the two coordinators have been with Cig since Indiana University of Pennsylvania days. Worked with him through the Elon and James Madison run. When they first started out, they said they were only making $8000 and 12000 and living off food stamps. now they both have signed multi-year million dollar plus contracts with IU.

"Aaron Terry is entering his 9th season as the Recruiting Coordinator and Defensive Line Coach at Iowa Western. Year in and year out he has produced some of the top junior college defensive linemen in the country. In 8 seasons for the Reivers, he has sent 46 players to Division I programs and coached 7 players who went on to play professionally in the NFL or CFL. This includes 2021 NFL Draft pick Daviyon Nixon (5th Round, #158 overall) and 2022 NFL Draft pick Perrion Winfrey (4th Round, #108 overall)."

This is the other name being thrown around in the local media.

Or the wife beater that Bo hired from Iowa I believe
He was actually a good coach. Definitely had personal issues. IF I remember correctly he rehabbed himself and expressed remorse for his behavior. Not sure where he’s at now. He did some Hail Varsity radio interviews 3 or 4 years ago. Definitely had a tumultuous marriage surrounding his short stint at NU.

Rick Kaczenski, Nebraska was his final coaching job, he got into a medical transport company after but no idea if he's still there.

Thought the only thing he medically transported was his wife, after her beating.

FWIW I can’t find any accounts that state she was beaten. The charge he faced occurred after he was no longer a coach and can mean nothing more than physical intimidation. The incident happened between 10pm and 3am. At the time there were rumors that they both had been drinking and got in an argument. I wasn’t a fan of his. His post firing rant didn’t help his chances of securing a new coaching job. That said, the guy could coach.

I actually liked him at his coaching position, got a lot out of his guys. As far as his domestic issues, we’ve all had our scrapes
