dual comparison: OSU vs psu

Maybe that would be his dual rankings. to me I think that is flipped. Funny, but it looks like both teams would be favored in 4 matchs and there would be two tossups. We are rated higher in both of the toss-ups, but not by much.
Conaway really stunk it up at the Southern Shuffle to move down in the rankings. Other than that he has been tough.

I think I've seen him say that he is working on the ranking system. I'm pretty sure it is just a plug and chug system. Perhaps it is currently weighted too much on SOSA.

There was obviously an issue with the rankings this week. Example 1: Josh Demas of tOSU (157) went from top 10 to 94th. Example 2: Jimmy Lawson of PSU went from top 10 to 64th.
Yikes! There are going to be many more examples, but those are the extreme ones that jumped out at me. Those, in turn, will obviously affect the team rankings as well.

Nothing meant by it, hope I don't offend. I was just saying that it is most likely an algorithm that you are "plugging" numbers into and it is "chugging" out results. Possibly not the right words. The main point is that they aren't ranking based on your opinion, but a non biased computer ranking.
No offense taken, and you are exactly right on everything else. The only "bias" that is involved, is setting the "base" ranking for all wrestlers as the starting point for each week the rankings are calculated.
For example, Jesse Delgado started the year ranked number 1, since he's the returning champ (so his "base"/preseason ranking is 2200, or something like that. Whereas, Kyle Snyder of tOSU started the year as a 1200, which is the default base ranking for all new collegiate wrestlers. That's why Delgado is still ranked fairly high, even though ALL of his wins are against less-than-impressive opponents. if he were to have his base ranking at the default 1200, he'd probably be ranked around 40, since his best win is versus #44 for the year.
