Due to draft projections, is it possible that one

twin stays and the other leaves. Or say if Andrew is projected late first or early second round and Aaron is considered not to be drafted, would both come back mainly to improve Aaron's future draft status. What do you guys think. Kind of tricky here.....

They've been on record saying they'll make the decision together. Im not ruling it out, since their situation is going to be interesting.

Andrew isn't considered a 1st round prospect anymore, so it won't be as tricky as you think.

they both are leaving IMO although i do think andrew ends up being a top 35 pick while Aaron will have to sweat it out and will get picked in the last 5 or so picks .

I can see the twins returning. Also, at least three of the other nine. Looks like another good run next year too me.

Meant at least three of the nine other than the twins. Two others I surely think should.

I can see the twins returning too, and if they do Poythress will as well. Best buddies.

I'm surprised this isn't a topic on this board every day because this is a big deal, much bigger than what Lunardi thinks duke's bracket will be.
If the twins aren't projected to go in the first round they would be nuts to leave. Would they and their dad blame Calipari for that? I would hope not but you never know.
If the twins, Poythress, Johnson and Ulis return for another year we could be looking at another historic team next year. Wow.

We've got what 8 guys who could go. That leaves a lot of possibilities. Who knows. I doubt any/most of them know. It's part of the roller coaster ride that is Cal's tenure. Whatever happens I think it will work out well for UK basketball next year. We'll get some of them back, some unexpected by many. That's about as far as I'm willing to venture out on to that limb.

The Harrison's know that they will not be on the same team if they leave unless they play across the pond. With that said I think if one has the chance to be a late first rounder or early second round that the decision will be made for him to go and the other twin stay to try and improve draft position next year.

One other possible scenario is Andrew gets drafted late first or early second round, Aaron declares and gets drafted by the same team in the late rounds or becomes a undrafted free agent and signs with the team that drafts Andrew. The team could then send one or both to D League for further development if warranted.

I also think they act together to either stay or go

It sure doesn't seem real positive for either of them to go very high in the first round, which to me dictates they return for one more year and try to work out whatever it is they need to do to succeed at the next level

Whatever they think that is....

I thought last year that one should stay and one should go. I actually don't think they compliment eachother on the court that well, and both would look better apart. Also it would take the pressure off the one that was lagging behind, because the brother would be in the NBA making that cash. I am definitely for twin independence.

I'm not sure how their stock will improve much with another year...other than maybe Aaron's if he can shoot it a lot better.

You also have to factor in sharing minutes with Ulis and Briscoe, and maybe to a much lesser extent Matthews, in the best case scenario for playing time next year. Booker could return as well...so who knows.

They'll both make the same decision - to go. They've maxed out in college. Theyre only real limitation is athleticism. That isn't improving with another year, and they understand that.

They may not get drafted. In fact I think they may prefer that. Would give them much more flexibility in landing on the same team.

This same argument works the other way.

Honestly, both (Aaron especially) may need to develop a specialty. If you can do that, age and potential don't matter. However, another year or two in college could facilitate it.

Do they like being in college? If so, they probably should stay. At this point, a degree is looking like something that will be useful for both of them.

If they really don't want to be in college - then I'd say they should probably go. I'm not sure how much higher their ceiling is at this point and they're probably sick of all the scrutiny they get from the fans. I know I would be.

One scenario would be for one or both of them to play like All-Americans over the next 9 games and improve their stock tremendously. I wouldn't rule that out and, if so, they probably should go.

Its funny how people think these guys are going as a pair. There is no way one NBA team will draft them both. Maybe if they both were great ballplayers they might, but they just aren't. They are good college players. If Kentucky wins it all, they should go while their stock is highest.
