42 percent. Mostly in garbage time. Shoots and never passes. Dribbles only with 1 hand. Guards nobody. A fouling machine. Makes nobody better, doesnt run the offense. Turnovers like crazy that he never gets charged for. And an ignorant, arrogant, cocky, me first and only attitude. Yeah bright future. For who? Bethany College if he transfers there? Hes barely been involved in the past 2 home games until the game was already decided, and we rolled by 30 plus and scored 97. Coincidence? No chance. Hes a division 2 player

He should shoot more and play more. He seems to be the only guard who knows what a pull up jumper is. A threat to drive to the rim, pull up and shoot a jump shot or jab step and hit the three, also a good ball handler and rebounder. When teams start to double team him you will probably see his assists go up, even though he is third on the team in assists already. He is a better defender than Knapper, McCabe or Harler. And even though he is a more natural shooting guard, he is probably a better point guard than our other options. He and Osabuohien continue to lead the team in steals. He is third on the team in blocked shots, tied with Culver! Just look at the team stats, it is easy to do. He is having a great year.

Steals is a major stat, especially on a defensive minded roster.
McBride is a point guard,
and he needs to shoot.

I think your being to hard on McCabe. His defense has improved greatly. It's part of the reason he is beginning to play more minutes. McCabe is a strong leader on this team. I would like to see more of McCabe and McBride at the same time.

Maybe that was a "cheap attempt" at humor, but I now see a transition to insults and innuendos.
I like McCabe but I expect more from him. He had a great assist to Oscar at the start and his defense has improved. I only point out his imperfections because there is a lot of chatter that there is supposedly SOME player on the team that should be playing well enough to keep McBride on the bench. I think next year after Haley is gone it will be the two Mc's starting at guard.
