Next week should be interesting as 3-0 StE travels to 3-0 WWS, we will see if the Tigers are for real or if its smoke and mirrors? I tend to think they are for real but we will see.

I know this type of comparison doesn’t work very well but I am wondering how good STE really is? They played two parking cones for their non con games and slipped past GBN in the first conference game. On the flip side - GBN got destroyed by Neuqua (they were able to put up 6 points on NV though) and GBN was shut out by Warren.

I’m thinking (as of week 3 anyway) that it is

The STCE defense has some issues that worry me but GBN played a really good game and deserves credit for that. They are better than 0 - 3 would indicate.

I was impressed with the SCN coaching on Friday. They couldn't pass the ball to Nubin so they got him involved via the Wildcat. Smart coaches always figure out a way to get their best player the ball when the traditional methods don't work. Be willing to change your game plan. Most coaches don't.

The kid is special. Did the same thing with us. On his TD we read it perfectly, our DE had both arms around him yards in the backfield past the left hash and he just breaks the tackle, reverses field and beats our D almost 30 yards to the end zone.

And Minnesota wants him on D.
