As I understand it, 8 teams, double elimination until the championship game, which is a best of 3 series.

Duke vs. Vandy. Baseball just like basketball the previous game goes beyond time thought or extra innnings. Bottom of 8th Texas Tech / Oklahoma . Oklahoma 5 T.T 4. Bottom of 8th. T.T. is the visitors. OFC

Danged it. Is Duke cursed as far as injuries goes to all our athlectic teams. Seems so. OFC

That’s awful, what are the odds of two of our players being hit in the face by balls in one season? Is that a common thing?

Jarvis has been outstanding. The only problem is Rocker has been better. No hitter through 7. Hopefully, Duke holds them and he comes out of the game.
A great game. Duke has shown they belong.

We ran headlong into a buzz saw. Vandy is scary good. But congrats to Coach and his men for another fine season. Omaha (with Duke) is on my bucket list, but there are only so many years left! Go Duke.

What Pollard has done at Duke is nothing short of amazing. HIs first head college coaching gig, was at a very small college about 15 minutes from where I live.
Pfeiffer University, in a town in North Carolina called Misenheimer.
