I can’t help but wonder if Baker felt he needed to jump at the offer since Duke is getting involved in Wendell Moore.

If anyone is interested....Joey is from my home town of Fayetteville NC and Trinity Christian High School, the same school that Dennis Smith Jr attended prior to NC State. Also the home town of former Dukie Robert Brickey who was a high school player at EE Smith High School prior to Duke.

Recently, private schools seem to be having their way producing/drawing top talent in North Carolina over our states county high schools.

He's already good, but with added strength and explosion, he could be a gem!

Don’t think Wendell Moore is the concern, but the fact that they have offers out to Carey, Hurt, Bacot, and Wiseman who are listed as PFs as well. Love this kid. He can play the SF position with this class considering so many of our top targets in that class are all PFs. Would love to see him, Hurt and Bacot team up with Hagans, Antione or Scottie Lewis. Baker gives us the shooting wing that we will need in the 2019 class to go along with a few stud front court targets and a couple dynamic scorers at PG/SG.

Think Baker was a huge key to this class. Gives K flexibility at the other frontcourt spots.

Considering how young he is and how he will develop he looks great on film. So happy for the news.

Never know but kid could conceivably graduate early, come in a year early, redshirt and be ready and acclimated for his freshman year.

Graduating early isn't so much the ticket as much as it is meeting all of the Eligibility Center criteria to first get into college.

Love everything about this get. Rated as high as the teens.

Dude1, thanks for the Video. Really like his court vision, he is very aggressive, handles the ball very well, and doesn't shy away from contact. Also, seems to get the rest of the team involved. Once he gets into the weight room @ Duke, maybe adds 10-15 lbs. of muscle, he will be harder to handle than he already seems to be!
Welcome to Duke, young man.
Go Duke!

Welcome. Reminds me of Kyle Singler in a way.

With a little Scheyer mixed in. In those highlights he can sometimes seem so sneaky to the point of being unconventional, but the ball goes in the hoop. Reminds me of a mix between the two.

Do you guys think if he stays until he's a senior at Duke if he will be as good as big luke maye was as a freshman. I know that's asking a lot but what a plus. OFC
