Maybe, if they beat VA on December 6th (I was under the impression that the ACC champ had an automatic bit).

And Penn State barely squeaks by Rutgers to become bowl eligible.

The word is that if Duke wins and JMU wins their conference championship game, then JMU would get the playoff spot ahead of Duke. FWIW.

Yes. Only the five highest ranked conference championship game winners get an automatic bid. Duke would likely be out.

Good update....I'm sure that if the ACC is left out the playoff expands next year and they get an auto bid...go Duke!
