Yw. I figured I would start a thread to keep track of our guys playing on tv. The high school schedule is getting bigger and bigger on the ESPN network.
Yes he is and pretty mobile too. You see that Brakefield dunk lol?
Yes sir! They need to get him the ball more, I may be bias, but I feel like the chubby MSU guy is Dominating the ball to much.
Cottrell looks like a good player. Always in the right place at the right time.
I feel like this game sort of shows why we need another big. Williams is going to be great for us but he’s a rim protector. It’s very easy for rim protectors to rack up fouls. I don’t know who we would slide in that 5 position if he gets injured or in foul trouble.
I imagine playing on National TV may play a small role sometimes. Trying to do too much to stand out a little. I remember people talking about Carey here and his lack of defense, no motor, etc... We see how that is turning out so far. But you are right. They got good form though which Is a great start for a player.
They don’t want to draw attention to themselves on national tv. They’re missing an opportunity to become famous like TV Teddy!
That was entertaining, and should we a good second half as well, you could see the jitters going away as the half went on.
My guess is the guards we have coming in is nice as well. Add them with Alex, Joey, and the other versatile wings, I think they probably figure we good at those spots. Our 2 guards coming in next year are something else.
I think Brakefield needs to work on his handle a little. Seems a little loose with the ball
I was wanting Brakefield to get a little selfish. I think he can clearly score when he wants to.
These seem like big teams for HS too. Usually it's the big college prospects and 6'5" centers, haha.
I'm impressed by Brakefield. Seemed like some posters were down on him and Coleman, but he looks like a really good prospect.

Exactly dbav. I totally agree. This is my 3rd time catching his game. That's why I decided to start linking game info. Get a better feel watching them play instead of reading what a few recruiting guys decide is the truth.
