Duke Stars Slip Questions

Just read an article on ESPN from Staff Writer David Hale, in which none of the players names were given, and it really shows the class of the Duke kids and their maturity.
Hale apparently asked them about seeding & National Title expectations in the aftermath of the ACC Championship game, and he said they answered with the same effortless control they showed in the dismantling of Florida State:

How do you feel about getting the No. 1 overall Seed? That's for the Committee to decide.
How do you feel about being considered the best team in the Country? Just trying to get better.
You are the favorites to win it all? Still have 6 games to play, my man.

Don't know about you folks, but it sure makes me proud to hear answers like that from kids that know how to represent themselves & their school.

Hale also pointed out that the 44 points that Duke scored in the paint against Syracuse, tied for the most they have allowed all season.
The 50 points Duke scored in the paint against Carolina was the most they have surrendered in 8 yrs..
The 42 points that Duke scored in the paint against FSU tied a season high allowed by them.

Looking forward to one more go around with these kids, so watch and enjoy my friends, we will probably never see a team like this again.

I hate we only have at most 6 games left to watch these kids together. I felt this way about last years squad and didnt think this year would be no where near as fun, then the season started and has way overblown expectations. This has been the most fun I've had watching a squad since 98-99 and probably even more.

Not to mention we held FSU and UNC to really low percentages in the paint and points in the paint compared to their average

I totally agree my friend, this has been an exciting season to say the least. I am still not over the ending to last year, and anything short of hanging #6 this year is really going to be hard to take, mainly because of the way these kids have carried themselves and openly displayed togetherness. Keep your chin up, enjoy, and know that you got to see what other schools only wish they could experience.

Yeah, I noticed that, but he seemed to either be surprised by the maturity of their answers, or he just wanted to focus on the consistency of Dukes scoring in the paint in a 3 game set.
Either way, I just wanted to point out the maturity of these kids and how well the represent themselves and Duke.
