First thing that popped into me noggin when I saw Gold Card's post.

Duke had lost two in a row, to Wake Forest and to otherwise winless Northwestern, who managed to lose to Illinois State 9-7, and to Western Michigan 22-21, both games at home. Yet they beat Duke by 11.

I love Notre Dame, but they're a dumpster fire this year. That says nothing great about Duke.
