Imagine being such a sorry fan base that after losing to an unranked team, coached by a former player of yours, at home, you come to a Duke board and say your arch rival should be number one over the number two team.

I agree, as likely as it is that we’ll win Friday night, it’s not a given because any team can struggle and lose to a team that they shouldn’t lose to as Kentucky proved tonight and as we’ve unfortunately proven in the past. As far as the next poll goes though, what would be hilarious would be if the teams ranked #2-#6 win all of their games this week and when the new poll comes out next Monday Kentucky dropped from #1 down to #6. The meltdown on RR would be even more epic than it is right now, especially if they ended up ranked below Michigan State.
But does Duke play at a fast enough paste to garner the #1 spot?
