So we won!

Good stuff-

Matt jones best game of the year - if he plays like this we are in great shape.

Grayson was great

Shared the ball well


Shots were falling


Most important it wasn't a massive struggle to put away a team that we should. A smooth win to advance.


Bad stuff -

Our big men's defense left a lot to be desired



Not perfect but pretty great overall. Only need 5 wins now.

Gotta clean it up on defense. Need ACC tourney Giles. Nonetheless you're spot on Crazy3. Pretty good effort tonight.

Yeah longhorn post, I mean Matt Jones best game in a while.

I thought we let up on defense some and continued to give Troy hope they could hang.

Overall good game

I don't care where the game is played I would rather face south carolina on Sunday....Marquette scares me the way they score and against our defense or lack there of

I like the way we controlled the tempo in the second half. TRoy wanted to speed us up and succeeded a bit in the first. Some token pressure and calming down helped us out a lot.

So happy to have Mato Jones. Frank looked a bit amped. Grayson Allen is a stone cold killer.

Played some zone toward end of game and also had our mid court trap working to stir things up a bit....I know my man Mac loved K changing things up, especially w/the zone which looked pretty good again IMO....

You trying to get me in trouble Hart? Seriously I did like seeing that, but more importantly, mixing things up a bit when our man is struggling. We seemed to give up lot of interior points, hope the team shores it up a bit going forward.

Who??? Me??? Course not-praising you really because I thought you made a good observation this year....Really I think Duke is playing the zone better than I have seen them play it in some time....

Like I posted before didn't see the game because of my flight schedule and got hope this morning around 11. Looking at the stats we had an awesome 1st half and it looks like we went on cruise control the second half. Wish we had scored 52 in the second half but overall a good victory. We got a chance.


Side bar here. As I was waiting at the gate in the Salt Lake City airport with a Duke t-shirt on a few people passes by and gave me thumbs up for Duke. Was on same flight as some Duke grads and one who is still a student there but in Utah skiing for the weekend. Lot's of unc fans there but none said anything except one guy. I think I met steat maybe. He's walking toward me and see's my Duke shirt and walks over to me and says. " I hate Duke and every thing about them." I told him I understood perfectly how he felt but it wasn't Duke I despised. He then started smiling a little and did say the he didn't think anyone wanted to play Duke in the tourney and I told him I definitely did not want to play the heels in the tourney when we got to the final four. He left then but with a very strong "go heels " as he left . The first person I thought of was steat but it could have been a thr guy don't you think guys. I know it wasn't guru gary-7 because he would have sat down with me and gave me that great insight he has. LOL OFC
