It could go all the way back to when David Thompson was a senior and phil ford was a freshman and the cheaters beat NCSU in ACC tournament which of course back then only the ACC tourney winners could go to the dance. I don't think the Wolfpack has had very much success since then. I know it probably hasn't been that long but when was telling last time State beat them?OFC

Careful now, they beat some bad SEC teams and a Kansas team that is trending way down so they're already talking 1 seed and how badly they want a rematch because Duke can't shoot threes. Their mod just broke down how easy it would be to beat Duke on RR... Shocked more teams haven't managed it yet.
Since I'm banned over at RR, due to asking the basic question if they were still happy they landed EJ Montgomery instead of Zion (yes, a legit argument was made by them that they were better off without Zion.)
I have to log out everytime to travel there, which is super annoying.
However I always read about how we lost to a terrible Syracuse team, it NEVER gets acknowleged that we were without our starting PG and starting SF.
I'd love to see their record without Hagans and Keldon Johnson.....

I post on the CBB Reddit pretty often and of course the whole sub was celebrating our lose to Cuse without acknowledging this, and I responded to a UK fan, posing him that same question and, I never heard back from him or anyone else for that matter, because of course the answer is, they'd lose. Big time lol.
It takes a while after a butt kicking like we gave them. Kind of hard to trash talk after something like that. It's gonna take a while to get over that but all its gonna take is if we go out before they do in the dance or for them to beat us in the dance. You can bet your bottom dollar the will be in our bracket and they will tell you that want to play us again. That's a lie. They don't want to play us again. No one will want to play us in the tourney. All teams will be pulling against us everytime to get beat so they will not have to play us. I understand that because I want an upset in the 1st round for every game except our game. I just don't care if we have a cake walk and beat the worst #16 seeded team in the tourney. I don't care if this happens for all the cry babies say we had a cake walk to the title. They got beat. I don't care if they whine about officiating. I just don't care how we win it I just want to win it. I feel wonderful when UK loses unless it's to unc cheater u. I just don't care if unc cheater u never ever wins another game match in any sport and they no longer have an athletic department and just becomes an Institute of higher learning and I say that with doubt. I don't care about the rivary. They are a dirty program and claim to be the people of the state of North Carolina university. I am one of those people from the state of North Carolina and it's not my university althought they take my taxes to support that pot hole of a school. I wonder what arrogant idiot came up with " the people's university." How arrogant is that after all this academic scandal and the school being put on probation. Maybe UK can finally be our rival . I have friends and relatives thatvdid get a diploma from there and they got it without cheating . I feel so sorry forvthem because there are people out there with a diploma from there with one they did not earn. Im a little harsh huh? OFC

Nah, you're not too harsh, I feel the same damn way. I've never liked UNC, but before that, I respected them. Now, after its been revealed that the corruption in that school was simply a way of life for the people there, I have zero respect for anyone involved with that garbage heap of a university. From the Dean to the walk-ons, that place was as corrupt as you can get. I mean, they had literally 200 fake classes...absolutely absurd. And their ignorant fanbase either looks the other way or denies it even happened!!! Ugh...I'm gonna stop now as I could go on all day but yeah, not to harsh Sky.
I feel the same way. I despised them but respected not only the academics but the athleticshow also and dean smith. How could you not respect the program but when the scandal hit, knowing it had been going on for 20 years or so and not only dean smith knowing about it but probably had a hand in creating it just was the last straw for me. Add that the AD at the time is now our ACC commissioner and has never been brought under the microscope. Then they threw a couple of low level employees under the bus by firing them. If they had only stepped up and said we did something wrong and we will pay the consequences my opinion would be different. That university has some powerful people in place that has no sense of what is right or wrong. Now let me say this. If it had happened at Duke I would still be as big a Duke fan as I am now but I would demand thinks would be made right and justice done no matter how many wins and championships had to be vacated and who lost their jobs including Coach K. But you know Coach K would never let that happen. OFC
If it happened at Duke and if Coach K knew, I don't think I could ever watch college basketball again. I know no one is perfect and I understand Coach K is just a man but, if I found out he had a hand in something like that...itd kill me man. Break my heart really. But yeah, K is about as genuine as they come and he wouldn't let that happen, thankfully.
UK has no answer for Zion or RJ. They just can drive in on them every time! We wouldn’t have to shoot many threes to beat them in a rematch and our defense is extremely good and would give them fits.
Getting close to game time. I'm excited. Great theropy for me right now. Since ESPN has no games scheduled before us tonights game should start on time. Would love to see us have a 20 run to start the game. The cheaters play at 8 on Raycom. I will go there as soon as the Duke game is over. I'll follow the Pack and cheat hills on ESPN home page . GO DUKE. GO NCSU. Who knows maybe State does have some pride and will stick it to the heels tonight. OFC

Tre played a lot with, and against, Stefon Mitchell of Boston College in high school. Mitchell is two years older, but their high schools competed a lot against each other, and they played some summer league teams together.
Cam seem's so confident in is shot now. Really looking for him to go off in game soon and put up sum big numbers!!
