I like that Baker is growing in confidence handling the ball.
It is unbelievable to me that we are going to score close to 90 and only have two players in double digits......and one of those isn’t Carey, Baker or Tre.....that’s strong

Brother, it's like it's a different sniper every game and you don't know if it's the first half or second. You just have a feeling it's coming. These boys are going to be dangerous. The crazy thing is, everybody still is growing and figuring it out.
Carey takes 6 shots the whole game and we win by 39? Wow!!
If you didn’t see the game, and I told you 4 of the 5 starters scored single digits? You are probably thinking we lost, not winning by blowout!
Remember when we beat a D2 team by only 5 points? Me neither.
Great overall team effort. Every player scored. Loved seeing Matthew have a great game. I'm not sure if Thorton's poor play was because he was hurting or Tre showing him why he's the starting point guard for Duke and would have been last year even if Thorton had stayed at Duke. We've poked a little fun at Thorton and his dad tonight but to be honest I think he made the right decision.OFC

If they are making 3’s, you can tell how easy it is to find the open shooter. When they were 0-12 against Brown, you could see hesitation to rotate it around the arc.
I almost hate we played well. We didn’t get all the whiners input about what K should be doing different.
They are anxiously waiting for just a glimmer of poor play or a bad game, waiting crouched down in hiding ready to pounce on the board and give input about what went wrong and what decisions should have been made to correct poor play and how decisions that should have been made to prevent the loss. They are here lurking and waiting. OFC

Going into tonight Vernon was above a 40 PER. Only other over 40 PER ever was Zion. If he can keep that up, that will be incredible considering all the media knocks on him going into the season.

I’m glad K went off about the regular season jab folks like to throw at us. No other team that did win the ACC regular won more NCAA Championships than us this decade. Also glad he acknowledged the unbalanced schedules. We had no problems winning regular season when it was a true round robin.
I wished he would told him that according to the league bylaws, the ACCT champion is the actual champion and we’ve won 4 of those. No other team won more ACC Championships than us this decade.
