This felt like a trap game to me. We look incredibly out of sync on offense and defense. Let’s go!!!
This just seems like it's our standard start in many games! We need to find another gear and take off!!!

Another bad start. Our offense can look really bad when we aren’t playing through Vernon. That was an incredibly weak first foul.
Our defense still struggles with ball screens. The big doesn’t hedge and the driver has a straight line to the hoop. It immediately pushes us off balance for an easy look somewhere. Still getting beat backdoor. I believe both are a lack of execution but amplified by mild effort so far.

They can’t get him the ball. We don’t have a lead guard that can break the D down so they can sag back and clog the lane on D.
i don’t agree with that. You don’t need to break the defense down to get a post touch. It doesn’t need to be a scoring touch, but you run your offense through him. Good things will happen.
