Really playing well after a sluggish offensive start. Have to run our offense through big Vern. So dang good and opens up some good looks for our outside guys. Really surprised Cal hasn’t stuck with zone. It was giving us fits and really slows the game down.

It was like we had 7 guys on defense. As everyone had said, Vernon was a beast. Lost in all this is it may have been Wendell’s best half so far. Much more composed.

Oh trust me I am not knocking the comparison. I think Carey is slightly ahead offensively then where KAT was at the same time in his career. But KAT defensively was really good in college. But I can see similarities in the way Carey uses his body and knocks down open shots.
We shall see how is development goes.
