I think if we can take advantage of the open shots we win this. We have them tied up shooting terrible for the half. We are getting a good number of open shots.
we have to put someone out there who can at least worry them from 3....it isnt Reddish. No Vrank....thats disappointing
dbav, I need you to cheer me on when I start physical therapy in a few weeks. Between you and my dad, I couldn't fail!
I would rather be ahead, but not disappointed to be tied at the half. We are usually a better 2nd half team. We need a good start to the 2nd half to put the noles in a hole. We can do this!!! GO DUKE!!!

I think the great frustration with this team is that they can play super explosive and look all-world but then make so many boneheaded plays with the ball (mental errors) and then just can't make open 3s. You expect some of that with freshmen, but not to this degree.
I remember in a Duke video early in the season K was talking to the players and basically telling them, "You need to work on your 3 point shot. You're going to get a lot of open threes, and you have to make them."
But, they just continue to miss.

Take better care of the basketball in the second, hit a few perimeter shots and we are in good shape.
Who is the 2nd best player in CBB? Certainly no one on Duke. The best player - yes. Don't bench him.
Eventually, we are going to have to figure out the "pack it in" defenses.
Totally disagree...its a TO for us most of the time. We are better off driving or getting it inside. They want us to shoot 3'...what does that tell you?
FSU is no slouch. They’re a 3 seed that’s possibly a 2 seed with a win tonight. Hopefully, that won’t happen.
Still, Duke needs to get back to the basics. Get it to Zion down low. RJ needs to drive. Cam needs to hit his open shots. The role players need to contribute.

No Vrank or AOC and everyone on three days of play, why not rotate these guys a little better especially when you get nothing from Cam or Jack
I totally agree, our 2 captains just aren't really doing much for this team, and that's a shame. They have got to do better. I know we like to wear out Cam and Tre, and rightfully so, but those 2 juniors should be able to bring more to the table. Jack don't even look to shoot anymore, and Jav looks at his hands when he makes a mistake like he didn't grown them.
Yes, at this point even though he is highly regarded he is just an average player. No where near the projected impact player. He should rotate with the others, Goldwire, AOC for shooting etc. He has some defensive moments but he also turns it over and goes to sleep on D. He gets a lot of burn that just isnt warrented. If he hits the game winner again, great..but overall his impact isnt what was projected
If they want us to shoot threes we need to make them pay on wide open shots. The coaching staff has said that this team shoots well.. it just need to translate into game action. I’m not saying to be exclusive shooting threes, but if there is a wide open look we have to make them pay.
Not sure what ppl are complaining about, Jordan has been getting PT this game for sure. I imagine after the cramps that are making extra sure to manage his minutes so it doesn't flair up.

I'm sure they know they should be up in this game and will come out with a sense of urgency. Time to stop playing around, get this ship and head on back to Durham and enjoy the overall number 1 seed lol. Let's Go!
He’s averaged 14/game this season. He just has had enormous trouble with consistency.
