True. But we play really good defense. We deserve some credit.
Would be nice to run a full offensive set. We look uncomfortable with the ball. We want to bail on the offense and go iso way too early in the shot clock. We are not searching for the right shot. All correctable though. And will come with game reps.
Lol I'm pretty sure Duke had a lot to do with them turning the ball over.
Interesting first half..Would have liked to see Tre shoot better, love the hustle on Defense but Kansas turning it over like this will not last.
Will be interesting to see if we can run better offense in the second half and where we can score from. If Kansas stops being so reckless with the ball they could win by double digits.

Defense looked great that first half! AOC as well. We need more out of our freshmen wings in the second half.
We're winning by 3, doesn't make any difference whether it's by defense, offense, or both. I'll take the half.

What is up with this really odd line of thinking that KU's turnovers are just some product of them playing bad? Did we just get lucky? Was KU just blowing by our guys with ease and then the ball happened to slip out of their hands? I mean, yes 18 turnovers is excessively high but come on, Duke's defense was really good that half.
If you play good defense, you’ll always be in the game. I like what I’m seeing so far from the defense.

Tre and AOC were both very good. I’d like to see Tre not settle for jumpers and for Alex to maybe hunt his a bit more. But regardless, those two played within themselves best that half.

Not a great first half but not a terrible first half either. If we improve in the second half then I think we win by 6-8 points. If I weren’t watching the game and saw that we’ve forced them to commit 18 turnovers I would’ve thought we would be up by about 10-12 points. In the second we’re going to have to take advantage of turnovers and score more off of them.
It’s not like our offense is going to improve leaps and bounds in the second half. Need to win this game with defense like our first half.
Love Wendell’s defense but offensively it wasn’t good. I didn’t like the plays he made. Thought there were many times where there were better options and he just tried to force it. It’ll be a learning curve
As stated, offense is definitely a work in progress. Defense is keeping us in the game and with the lead right now... goin to have to make shots in the second half
Mmm...almost makes one think the ACC decided to have teams play a conference game their first game of the year to promote the new network
I think if we can get better spacing and run some more set plays instead of the ISO stuff, we'll look a lot better.
