I don't think this loss is emberassing, I think this is who we are.
Ok, so maybe going to class is a bad idea. This semester has really changed our mental toughness.
Louisville is more experienced and we'll never beat them off talent alone. Right now, Louisville is better. Could change, but is what it is right now.
The time he missed early this year with the ankle must still be a problem. No quickness at all. If that's not it what is it!!!!

If not making free throws means you don’t finish a game then who finishes games for us? Because last time I checked there’s a lot of guys that can’t make free throws.

I think they should have put him in. At least on the offensive end.
But he was really struggling to guard anyone tonight because of the quickness of their big men and he is a liability on the line.
He was out because they would just foul him and at best he makes one of two from the stripe.
We came out sleepwalking and got down big early. We shot lousy from three. Way way way too many bad turnovers. We showed panic down the stretch. We lost to good team. Sucks.

I’m sorry to be a realest but this team isn’t good. Everyone needs to level set their expectations. Sweet 16 would be a success.
Coach K hasn’t coached in years. We don’t have a Zion or RJ or Jabari or Grayson or Ingram or Jahlil this year and yet he relies on the players to create their own shots. We pass the ball around the perimeter for 20 seconds and then try to force it into Carey or Tre takes a bad shot.
Tre is overrated. Defensively he’s been getting cooked all year. This has led to Goldwire having to guard the opposing team’s best guard and we all know Goldwire is irrelevant on offense. Offensively, Tre can’t get past his defender for the life of him and has been super turnover prone in big moments.
Carey has one of the lowest defensive IQs I’ve ever seen. Horrible on hedging, switching, post d, help d, everything. He also needs to make free throws and learn to pass out of the double.

Well I know one Freshmen who literally drug his team along to be in the position to at least win the game

Did his right arm fall off? He can still shoot right? Jack and hurt couldn’t stop me from driving to the hoop all night, so it could t be because is defense
Boys and girls when this Duke team is playing well as a team we are certainly as good or maybe even better than any team in the country. The problem is we just dont seem to have the offensive consistency needed to win when the game is on the line. Very fustrating to watch when we struggle to score.

People that think tre should leave early... I hope you’re watching. He wouldn’t make an nba roster , love him but he has been getting cooked by good guards
The execution wasn't there, but they fought back. Winning is contagious and so is losing. We need to bounce back and beat Miami to get back on the winning track. Lot more basketball left to be played.

The good news is we were easily a Wendell Moore away from winning the last 2. Bad news is every loss we have had could have been won with the extra number of free throws we missed.
Will Duke have a first rounder this year? Hard to imagine.
What had Moore showed you? He’s been inefficient offensively and LAZY on defense. He’s had like 2 good games all season.
