do we have anyone who can take someone off the dribble? Seems we need a screen every time or just pass it around the perimeter
There is nobody on this team that can create for others or break down a defender.
It’s why teaching a team system is so important...the individual talent doesn’t exist this year.
every time we get any lead we end up giving it back and more in the next few possession....like clockwork. Why pass outside when you are near the rim?? No wonder we don't get FT's
Roach needs to be aggressive and look to score in 2nd half. If he can get 8-10 it’s a W
is Roach a SG, a pure PG or what was he recruited for? He isn't our primary PG, doesn't score a lot so wondering how he was a high ranked recruit. We are missing any penetration from the PG position and any consistent scoring from there also - used to be our strength. We are at least within range to pull this one out
5pts from our 3 PG's so far vs 14 from the UL PG's....need to even that up and we can build a lead. In other news FSU pounded Clepson by 30!
Turnovers...missed shots....other team hitting shots and taking care of the ball....down 3 at half...ill take it
and again...up 3 to down 4 in no time...when was our last lead that was more than one bucket? or more than 1 minute?
Worst passing team I have ever seen at Duke. Dribble, Dribble and either throw up a brick or like Moore just now commit turnover. Brakefield hasn’t a clue on defense. Crowed the guard at top of the key and guard flies by right him for a bucket.
