I like where we're at right now. Plumlee is just making sure to not get any fouls, and some other guys are staying out of foul trouble in the first half. I think in the second half we'll clamp down a little bit and make them earn it from the line as opposed to giving up wide open shots in the lane and from 3. I think we might pull this one out fellas.
We're not in too bad a position. We're getting to the hole, we're not in foul trouble, and doing okay on the boards.

Never fails, another team shooting lights out. Just simply amazes me, every game, if it's Duke, they concentrate like no other game!
Anyway, we are hanging in there, we just need to be really aggressive on the offensive end. Glad to see Matt hitting a few, but I really don't like seeing Grayson pass up a shot to pass to Matt. Grayson, Luke, and Brandon are going to have to light it up the 2nd half for us to get this one. Not real bad D if we can keep it up.

We are playing as hard as possible but we're not scoring enough points to win this game. 31 in a half is not enough against this Miami team the way they are shooting.
We are in the game, we just need Miami to miss some of those deep 3's. Come on Grayson do your thing this half
There needs to be a study done to see if poor-shooting teams go nuts against Duke every time.....
Hope we can reach down deep again in the 2nd half, like we did Saturday! Come on guys, you just have to battle, battle, battle! Don't try to keep from losing, Go for it!!

Yes, I personally thought the first half wasn't bad. We're down only 4 pts. in a game where that soft, porous zone conserved our team's energy and limited our starters to a grand total of 1 foul. While I'm not sure how our man-to-man defense matches up against Miami (b/c it certainly got torched last season), the first half gives us the flexibility to now play aggressive man-to-man if we have the energy / can stay in front of their guys. If I were to complain about one thing, it's that Marshall has been weirdly tentative around the rim -- probably b/c he's overly concerned about Jakiri. He should probably have about 4 or 6 points at this point. But, other than that, I think that half went about as well as we could hope save that our perimeter shooting wasn't great.
I feel like Duke has done some things well but hasn't capitalized. Not totally pissed off so far.
Yeah his hands are like they were his first three years here.
And Chase just isn't ready. He's clueless out there. Gets lost every time on defense or fouls.
I don't think our energy bad. Miami is just playing really well and we're starting to panic.
I don't think it's that he's bad....he's just not ready right now. He will one day be a very good player for this team.
Just not enough experience and depth to play against a team that has way more college hoop experience. We'd need all our guns firing to win at Miami and unless they catch fire it just isnt happening tonight
I'm starting to let it sink in. We are going to have a double digit loss season. It's OK. We need to enjoy the wins and be gracious in defeat. It's time to let Chase play. We need the rebounds.
