Alex was not sharp. But this team so far is just different. Yeah, we would have liked him to be better, but someone has stepped up so far each game. This half was Stanley and Carey. Maybe he contributes in the 2nd half, maybe he doesn’t.
I just love how this team plays. We just fundamental our opponents to death.

Okay I may get some crap for this but.... Everyone talks about how deep we are, yeah? I think Duke's depth is only due to us not having 3 or 4 superstars on the team this year. We're not any deeper than the last few years, it's just that K is actually playing guys he has because the skill level across the board is much more even than years prior.

The depth of this team is going to win us a lot of games this year... you almost don’t fear too too much when the bench comes in and this is going to allow us to just wear teams down

I think there’s some truth to this. I also feel like we have a lot more veterans.

I’ll say that with the exception of Zion, our past few teams had guys that needed to see the ball to go through the basket in order for them to be effective. Vernon is every bit as good, yet he isn’t afraid to pass.

Would like to see Joey get a couple shots to go in. He’s struggled a the past couple games. He’s on the money it just seems like every shot is going in and out. Would like to see a couple 3’s from him this half.

Love Vernon's game and demeanor. You can't tell if he's scored 30 points or 4 points. He just reminds me so much of an old school type player. No flash just gets the damn job done.

I would just love to see him Flex and Scream on routine plays like Bruce Johnson, especially down double digits.

It’s weird to say, but Laranega has aged a lot in the last couple years. From when he looked 85 years old.

You notice how there is no expression of his face. I tell you what we will never ever be able to tell by his body language what he's gonna do whether he's gonna transfer or whatever. OFC

Yeah, I wouldn't want to play poker with him.

Good lord I’m glad we finally have a team that didn’t go down to Coral Gables and forget how to play basketball.
