11 players played. 11 players scored. Good to see Robinson hit that three. Hard to find any negative thing to say about the game huh guys. A true road and convincing win. Next to games should be wins. We can't be over confident. If we do we will get beat. Take no prisoners. Play every game like it's the national championship game. Let's press on. OFC

Yes glad to see Robinson score and hate to have a captain transfer

Really like that k took the approach of defense first with this team and offense later. I hope duke continues this in the future even when have multiple alphas. Maybe it is solely on the personalities on the team, but this has been beautiful basketball to watch this year. Everyone seems comfortable in their roles and with the ball

Really happy about this win. This Miami squad is decent, and this place has historically been difficult to win at.

If someone wanted to be really nit-picky, about the only thing we didn't do well was taking care of the ball the first 12 minutes or so. Besides that, this was a clinic.

Next up is Georgia Tech. They must be outstanding....nobody beats the Heels like they did today.

10 of 11 players played double figure minutes
11 players scored
7 players had at least 2 assists
11 players recorded a rebound
And the big stat I love to see.... no one played more then 27 minutes..

This duke roster is the definition of a team! Sky is the limit for this team.. besides Carey and Jones, you never know who will step up and by that 3rd scorer (Cassius was tonight)

We play next Wednesday the 8th at Georgia Tech at 9pm on the ACC Network. UNC plays Pitt at 7pm on the ACC Network, so that means that our game will probably be interrupted by the UNC/Pitt game running over.

Great great game. Team looked great on both ends. Then again Miami is a bad team.
I’m still a little worried we wont hit a 3 in a close game against a good team in the tourney. Baker is the only guy with a reliable outside shot. Sure other guys can hit an outside shot. Hurt, Cassius and even Aoc CAN hit a 3 but their inconsistency scares me. Hopefully our outside shooting or lack thereof doesn’t come back to bite us in the 1 and done scenario.

Their inconsistency doesn’t scare me. As much as I loved JJ, I hated that he was our main source of outside shooting on the 2006 team and when his shot wasn’t falling, we were toast. We no longer “live by the 3, die by the 3” which was usually our undoing in the NCAA Tournament from 2005-2009. We have proven 3 point shooters (even Vernon can hit the 3 if need be), but we’re so efficient in the paint that the 3 isn’t needed. And we play great D, which may mean the 3 isn’t going to be needed.

With no prolific teams this season, our D may be just enough.

Not sure about this take. We shot 43% from 3 last night. We have 5 guys shooting over 40% from long range on the season! ... including our center who is at 57% (albeit on limited attempts). How many teams can trot out an entire lineup of high percentage bombers?? This doesn’t even include guys like AOC or White who can get hot or our either of our PGs which are capable too.

I say it a lot but man Goldwire is really playing well. We didn’t really drop a beat when tre picked up his second foul and had to sit for over 5 min. He just plays his role well
Not saying he’s better than Tre but when Jordan came in is when we started to pull away. He was just playing really well. Those last 9 minutes of the first half were very nice.

Our offensive flow is also so good this year that most of our threes are wide open.

Definitely not better than tre but having a solid back up that plays his azz off is always great.

Yeah, we have diverse ways of getting buckets. Last night was a total feast of a preview of what the ceiling looks like. If we get that Cassius and that Hurt, on even a semi-consistent basis, look out. And I feel like Moore has been frustrating to some at times, and rightly so, but he has tantalizing potential and when under control gives us so much flexibility
