Better play a lot better in the 2nd half. In my opinion this has all the makings and feeling of an upset. We still can't guard even moderately athletic teams.
I meant tonight.I wouldn't agree with that assessment of MSU. They've played a controlled game just unlucky at points. A couple missed chippies or a couple made threes makes this game look very different for both teams.
Are you really comparing college basketball players that practice almost daily and play anywhere from 31-40 games during a 5-6 month season to casual fans on a message board? As the saying goes, that's like comparing apples to orangesIf anyone on this board missed that layup they would have blown it
Man I just went to the fridge to get an apple. I like a cold apple, how bout you Sky? Fruit room temp or refrigerated? Are you really comparing college basketball players that practice almost daily and play anywhere from 31-40 games during a 5-6 month season to casual fans on a message board? Exactly..... everyone on this board if given the opportunity should have made that layup. Shows how bad a miss it was. And Jay Williams said that MSU was in striking distance at the half. Umm, it's tied. Some pretty dumb comments from Duke grads tonight."Sometimes a missed 3 pointer is worth more points than a made 3 pointer." - Bilas
On a side note, Greenberg shouldn't be aloud on tv.
To be fair, (and I don't disagree with you) he has missed some shots that should have gone in and a couple of those make a big difference in the overall outlook of his performance.Grayson needs to be less of a bull in a china shop and more about picking his spots. He's done it in the previous games. You can tell he's pressing big time.
Got to go zone
It's the missed layups and wild drives that lead to run outs."Maybe we should stop letting Grayson shoot." - dukehokie
