I know they're open but I've always felt like we play better when we are a little bit more mixed. We're making a good percentage but we can get cold at times.really woul'dve like to have seen thornton drive on his 3.

I am watching on small screen on ESPN3, but is it me or NCST not even trying to set anything that could resemble a legal screen on occasion?
Our defense ugh. Matt getting picked on and Marshall has not switched well.

Yes, but I would also argue both teams are hitting a couple shots that they should not. I do not think the defenses are playing as bad as the score suggests.
We cannot get up and guard people for fear of fouling. While playing only 6 & 1/2 guys this is always going to be a problem.
Wish they would show that replay slow mo so we can see Barber's head fly back a half a second before Allen touched him.
Our defense wasn't awful, they are just hitting everything. Good thing we are too, sans FTs.
Hope coach k gets them fired up to play some D in the second, I say both teams finish in the 80s
Duke will try to win the tournament. We all know that. K will never say lets save energy for the NCAA tourney. That said to go 4 games in 4 days he knows we need to relax a bit. We can't afford foul trouble and burning out guys because somebody is on the bench. I am not surprised at the scoring because I feel Duke wants be able to go hard in the 2nd half if they have to. We are in a better spot in my opinion that State who has more fouls and the pressure of win or go home. I think much like the first State game where they hit EVERYTHING in the first half and then we shut them down in the 2nd this game will follow suit.
You are right dj but if we start going to the foul line were are going to have to hit better than 50%. OFC

If Ingram continues the way he is playing, and Luke (who owns the guy guarding him) keeps going to the hole, all we need to do is get Grayson going on the offensive end and we will be alright. No matter what happens, at some point in time I want to see our guys Battle, Battle,Battle!

Surprised Duke did not attack Rowan and Martin to try and get the third foul on each.
Got to think Duke will go zone. Trying to contain Barber only opens up the middle for a dunk once he goes by his man.
He faked right and went left on Matt for easy assist.
