Never been so disappointed with a 7 point lead against Carolina at the half. This should be double figures easily. It started with Tyus missing that easy layup and then not getting the ensuing defensive rebound.
7 point lead into the half isn't bad at all I will gladly take it.
That said our defense could be a lot better.

I'm with you. It fills like we should be winning by 20 imo. Our D is going to have to improve in the 2nd half or else. Hope Jah is okay...he was really limping.

Agree.....we were very sloppy at times.....Amile has to catch the ball cleanly that Tyus gets to him. Box out and keep feeding Jahl..good things will happen.
Need to start 2nd half like we started the game. Hope Jah is ok. No doubt our defense is keeping UNC in the game. Need some 3's other than Cook's. Need to humble Jo EL Berry and get his game back to normal. Make some free throws guys. We're getting to the free throw line and need to take advantage. OFC

Not doing a very good job of talking on defense. Help is weak, which comes from talking. Hopefully we'll get together at half time and correct these issues. Okafor still doesn't look good on his ankle, kind of wish they would put some tape on there during the break. Looked like he is limping a bit? Marshall? Stone hands. Thought he might be big tonight.
We're losing focus and not taking care of the ball like we did at the start of the game. Think we will regroup after half.

The minute the announcers mentioned something about UNC getting their offensive rebound I knew we were in trouble. The Heels killed is on that end the last 10 minutes.
Our defense wasn't good. We must improve there or this one goes down to the wire.
Offensively we were good, but so were they. I'd rather be up 10 or 15, but had you asked me at the tip if I'd take seven at the half I'd have said yes.

As a commentary, glad to see a game 49-42 at the half in college basketball. Someone tell UVA, Kentucky and the rest of college basketball that this is how it should be played.

This stretch is just awful - offensively and defensively. Since that easy layup miss by Winslow it's gone downhill.
Too many turnovers or poor shots now and then not playing D. Freshmen.
