Every mental mistake by us has been magnified based on UNC coming down and jamming it down our throats.
The Zion injury, coupled with good play by UNC, has really knocked this group back. The timing of the injury couldn’t have been worse, either. We just panicked.
Going to have to get something from someone not named RJ or Cam in the second half.

I’m actually going to call it a night and watch the replay tomorrow. The Zion knee is too distracting to enjoy this.

I really hope Zion’s injury isn’t serious. You can tell he loves playing at Duke and I’d hate it for him if it ended this way.
Gotta gameplan now without him. Maybe a zone? I don’t know. Need more drives. Shooting mostly 3s isn’t going to win this one.

Every time I start to get mad at the refs.. I realize we’ve taken 20 threes in the first half (and made 2)..
Hopefully Coach K and Zion can get the team focused and motivated at halftime
At this point the game really is meaningless....I know we all want them to win...but it won’t matter if Zion tore something and is out for the rest of the season....

I want to win the game, and it's a LONG way from over. But more concerned about Zion. I'm sure that's where most of us are
I can’t imagine how the team and Zion feel because I feel sick to my stomach hoping it’s not serious and I’m just some wacko fan lol.
A bad finish to the half that's for sure. We've got plenty of time, but we've got to get some consistent half court offense, and we've got to play better defense.

Game isn't meaningless to some of us. I plan to keep supporting this team. Zion isn't the only member of it and these kids are playing their hearts out.

Duke is throwing up one brick after another. We actually played much better D the last 10 minutes of the half.
But, good grief, show some poise and make a shot. They really had very little poise. Looked like mostly freshmen out there. Barrett stopped trusting his teammates at times. Tre was out of control on so many passes and his shots were awful. Twice he missed the rim way long on open shots. White and O'Connell are both throwing bricks.
Almost every shot is long. They just aren't relaxed and have no confidence in their shooting. Too jacked up.
If they can shoot well in the 2nd half and not have half the team foul out, they have a chance.

We need a 3rd guy to step up on offense. White is scared to take open shots now, Jones hasn't been close....I dunno. Two of those fouls on Javin were horse ****.
How’s that worked for Tre so far both his fouls were charged they are packing the paint
This shows how too reliant we are on a couple of our guys. Yes they are studs, but our other guys are lost on offense. We have no interior game without Zion, and that’s a freaking shame. Bolden should be better offensively than he is, and White is not even a shell of himself.
We can still win, but a more focused bunch of kids better show up the next 20 minutes.

the people who designed the shoe and sent it to some unjust sweat shot to be made?Our inside game went out the door with Zions injury.....we will be perimeter oriented from here on out without him....and this isn’t the Duke team to do that with.....this team will have huge problems if it’s for the year....any news on Zion will determine the rest of our season....
UNC isn’t going to let us drive now....either we got really really hot from outside or it’s already over...doesn’t even take into account we can’t get rebounds or stop paint scoring without him....we can’t even really get stops consecutively because of it....
This all around blows....
