Disappointed... Just going bowling doesn't feel good enough anymore. I love and appreciate how good we have it with Coach but I want to go to the next level...
Yup. 4-0 to 4-4 with a trip to Blacksburg next week. Sucks. Today and two weeks ago vs Virginia really changed the outlook for the whole season. Those were two games we should have won. Our defense misses too many tackles and Daniel Jones is too inconsistent for Duke to be a good team.
We do have a victory over unc, we always have that to fall back on.
Interesting observation by Coach Spurrier during halftime interview about the current state of Duke football. "Need to recruit better".
Well, Coach Cutt might be a QB whisperer but coaching can only make a QB so much better. QB vision, decision making and arm strength are things that at some point can't improved on, you just have to be born with.

major changes needed on the coaching staff. worst special teams play i have ever seen at duke. one, i repeat, one hand off to wilson and brown in the entire second half. zero in fourth quarter. ARE YOU FREAING KIDDING ME.
Lost another close one. Just gave up too many big plays but the hurt was eased with unCHEAT getting gassed. OFC
We have recruited better. The development is not there. Our q.b and wr development is awful and our play calling remains terrible.
Not enough speed on the offensive side of the ball. Jones just takes too long to get rid of the ball and he is not accurate.

I got killed for saying it earlier but I just don't think jones is a good qb. Definitely doesn't help that roper and the wrs are not very good.
This is a replay of last year. Cannot prevent long td's. Offense is poorly coached. Btw, why hasn' team received Cut's full attention for the last 4 games? OC and Knowles and his 3/5 defense need to go. Hopeless until meaningful changes are made.
