They're fine. When you're shots fall, you gain confidence. They can't all be Jabari Parker. When they learn the scheme, they'll be hard to stop on O.

Hokie, can you see a scenario down the road where Thornton, Allen, and Kennard will be on the floor at the sAme time?

Yes and we wouldn't have to wait until next year. Haha.

With the depth and the ability to interchange lineups, they will be. I think they already had a short stint together this game.

Thanks. Seems like that would be a high scoring combo once the freshmen settle in.

I am really happy with what I'm seeing from Amile.

He's gonna spell Matt for the first part of the year. He just needs to prove to himself, not the coaches that he can hit these shots. He does that, he'll stay on the floor. I do want to see him use those nasty handles to create shots for others. That'll come in a month or so.

Would love to see Obi prove he can earn minutes.

Better enjoy Grayson this year, definitely his last season. He's almost unguardable when his perimeter shots are falling!

I'm pretty happy here. Solid defense. There are some things to refine. It'll be fun to see this team develop, particularly Thornton and Jeter for me.

Two keys to this team going deep. Last year "eight was enough" because you had a couple of future NBA All-stars. This year, teamwork, D and depth will be key because there are so many guys who compliment each other. Jeter and Thornton played AAU together and could make some nice plays together.

This D is gunna be good good and the O will follow. We're gunna be a very dangerous team going to be fun! As for Amile I love seeing him do well. This is honestly what I expected from him when he was a frosh for later in his career

With ya on Amile, pigsah.

Whoever has the hot hand on this team needs the ball at least during tight games. Right now, Luke is feeling it. Feed him!

Ingram and Kennard look like they have that confidence already. Just need to grow. Thornton and Jeter look like they get it, but they need some confidence if that makes sense.

Did I just see Kennedy Meeks with 21 and 9? Jesus! Final Four here Roy comes. Better get to the Final Two, cause I don't know if his boys can count higher than four.

I wouldn't call it confidence so much as trusting their form and set up. The guys who are missing aren't setting up for shots like normal. It's a mental game when it comes to shooting.

I meant more that Ingram and Kennard don't look hesitant to be assertive.

Loving Amile tonight!

I'll say this, the freshman have bad footwork setting their shots up. They aren't getting their feet set well. Good feet, good shot.
