we were due one or two things to go our way....a lot didnt in that game with the calls...
Tougher matchup than I thought it would be.

In a one point win lots of plays loom large for both sides. A missed free throw, missed layup there. Doesn't matter how much you win by, you just have to win.
That should have been a shot clock violation and had those 2 points waived anyway.
I think we got drawn in by the legend of Tacko and our whole team was hesitant to attack him. He got in our heads.
Hats off to UCF. They played a great game. Dawkins and the other guard are legit. I hope they get back here next year.
This team has resilience. They won't quit. Need more energy though. I wonder if what K was suffering from has been going through the team.

Survive and Advance! Woooooooooo! Thanks to all who helped keep a positive vibe. I was trying hard to put good mojo out there for the boys. UCF played a great game, especially Dawkins. I think this was a hard game for Coach K. It's obvious how much he loves Johnny and his family.

Good game guys. Heartbreaker for us, but I thought that was quite a fun and epic game to watch with Zion and Tacko. Knights will be cheering you on the rest of the way.
You guys got run to the brink by a FOOTBALL school. So don’t gloat too much...
Zion is a class act though. As much as I would like to hate him, Kid handles himself the right way.

Just happy to move on. We could be going home so easy. My hat is off to Johnny D. and his program. Aubrey is a player. I under estimated Fall. We are lucky he stayed in foul trouble and wasn't on the court for more minutes. Feel for Johnny but glad we aren't going home due to him. Maybe this is our bad game of the tourney. I hope so. I should be on the top of the world but I have to admit I have somewhat of an empty feeling right now. I cannot blame the officiating though. We should have won this game by 20. We've got some serious work to do between between now and Friday no matter who we play. Thankful and grateful we didn't lose. I don't think I could take the cheater abuse. It's gonna be bad enough as it is here in tar heel county, N.C. OFC

This was a "perfect storm" game. They hit shots they usually don't and they were very well coached I thought. The triangle and two was smart because they have the size to do that. Just advance. Go Duke!
Games over...no need to smack talk..it was a great game to the buzzer and could have went either way. Both teams deserved a win, but only one did and can. Great game. Can’t be too down on our Knights.
I don't like the way the team has been trending. Coaching has been really mediocre the second half of the season.
Going to a zone with Dawkins going off was such a terrible move. I think not developing and playing O'Connell is going to burn us. Tre and Goldwire made one huge 3 each late in the 2nd half, but defenses are going to continue playing off them. Our lineup with Tre, Goldwire, and DeLaurier all playing puts way too much pressure and lack of space to operate for Zion and R.J.
Cam is always in foul trouble because he can't dribble without turning it over or charging. So K will keep resorting to Goldwire/DeLaurier lineups. It's going to kill us later during the tournament.
