So we all know that we don't win this game if Roy didn't so graciously sit Hicks out for us, but man! That one feels good. At Wake, ND at ND, a scrappy Pitt team, and now the best team in college basketball according to Jay Bilas.

Has this team earned a vote of confidence? Have they put the "injuries are the reason..." conversation behind them? They've played a serious stretch and came out 4-0. And as always, what can get better for neutral site battles in March?

UNC played well, and Duke just played better. We competed on the boards, and made our 3's. Our defense was up and down...sometimes really good, and sometimes not so much, but they kept at it, and did enough to get the win. Duke is starting to show the potential we've had for them.

Excited about the second half for Tatum. Clutch plays.

Frank was very composed and nailed some huge FTs.

Luke was slippery all night.

Mat Jones and Amile Jefferson are amazing. They do so many things for this team.

Got a few pretty good minutes from Giles and Bolden.

In conclusion, GRAYSON ALLEN IS A STONE COLD KILLER!

Keep fighting fellas.

BIG win for confidence - 75% of the game we did a great job defensively and we rebounded like men...to me that was the key - limited the second chance points in the paint and played hard on that end. Tatums second half was a coming out party i hope and he starts to dominate games in the flow of the offense.
Oh and by the way - GTHC, GTH

I don't know what happened but they finally look like they enjoy playing with each other again. I guess winning cures all. That was a heck of a game. Tatum, Kennard, and Allen: college version of the big 3!

They all seem so epic, but damn man that was a game!!! both teams played very well, I walk away thinking Duke is the better team. We have some serious weapons, serious weapons!!!! It's always been a heart issue, and the heart is coming around'!! I've been saying it, in feeling real good moving ahead! They are having fun, and this won't hurt!!!

This is the grayson allen from the last 3-4 games that we all expected and the whole country feared. His chemistry as well as that of our team seems wwwaaayyyy better than at any other point this season, for obvious reasons.

You hit on it in the beginning. Most of the game, the defense was there. This team isn't going to be a 40 minute-give you hell defense. But to get key stops against runs and at the end of the halves, that is how you play championship ball!

Great game!! Loved seeing every guy in our 8-man rotation having their moments in this one. This win should validate that we're progressing as a team and we could be dangerous by the time March rolls around.

Grayson, Tatum, Kennard played amazing Ball... Defensively we can improve but overall the team seemed comfortable together

Don't ever do that. We make fun of Luke and he plays well. We can't have Berry playing well.

In fairness, the ref whining was during the game. Most of the post game stuff focused on how they didn't get it done. Now tomorrow, it may be back to petitions to have games overturned and such.

Haha, it's already started. This is what one of my Tarhole friends said on Facebook:
"Grayson Allen and my daughter have something in common. They both cry and whine when something doesn't go their way. Difference is, Holland is 4 and Grayson is in college."

Neither coach can be disappointed in their team. Both teams played at a high level tonight. But the good guys won and I will be looking forward to the next matchup.
