I think the only team I want to beat worse than UNcheat this season is ND.
+1. They're the only team that's owned us since the ACC expansion.

Agreed. Its just that I'm not impressed with a blowout win against a team like UNLV.
I agree with you Q. For me it wasn't about who the opponent was, it was more about building a chemistry on it. That's the positive I took out of this game. That and Allen was springy again.Let's put into context this UNLV was a bad team. If we're doing this to UNC, UVA, Louisville, FSU, Norte Dame, then look out.
I just got to watch the game recorded and WOW!!! We're the best team in the country and it's not that close. If we lose again and that's a big if it'll be because we somehow quit. So impressed right now, we could be watching a historic team
Yeah the only thing we are not going to have to beat all of them though to win the title. We might just have to beat 1 maybe 2It very well could be a historic team. It may be one of the best Duke teams of the 21st Century, maybe ever, and yet we still may not win the National Championship. There's some really strong teams at the top of college basketball this year. Most years this teams wins it all going away, this year it's not a sure thing.
If Duke wins it all this year, inevitably they'll beat the team that beats Kentucky, and Nova will somehow lose in the 2nd round (like they have the past two Duke 'ships!)It very well could be a historic team. If we win it all it will be because we are in the easiest bracket and there were several upsets.
OFC
I mentioned this sentiment in the original post, but my point with that was the discipline this team showed on both sides of the court, which lead to a blowout win. I don't care who you play, beating a D1 team by 45 is impressive anyway you slice it. And the beauty of it was that there was dominance throughout.
So no, Duke won't have twelve put back dunks and behind the back scoops against Kansas next time they play. They will however have length, rebounding, agility, slashers and shooters all ready to go at different phases of the game. That part is clear to me. Doesn't mean Duke can't lose, especially in the one-game setting, but as good as college basketball is this season, I can't think of many teams that can go as deep as 8 and that 8th man may very well be drafted.
Wanna watch something important? Watch the bench during this game. Every single player 100% invested every second. I'm lovin that.
I heard the Russians are involved, too.The way that CBS manipulated of course
