Great game! Very solid game by Thornton. I was hoping that he wouldn't wear down with the constant tough D from UVA and start to have some of his mental lapses. He did not. Big reason we were able to pull it out. Marshal had some real man rebounds. He doesn't get enough credit. UVA fans or anyone else complaining about any call in that game are nuts. Period.

What do you expect? They haven't beaten Duke in Cameron in over 20 years and because of a controversial call at the end, UVA fans are going to make a big deal out of what could have been. They can win all the regular season titles they want, but their style of play isn't conducive for a run in March.
Well, I never really cared for Andy Katz, and he sure proved why, after watching him on Sportscenter last night. For him to continuously emphasize a walk on Grayson and not say anything about a foul, shows what a complete moron he is! He went to the bother of polling officials anonymously, so they wouldn't have to give their name?! Are you kidding me! GTH out of here with that BS.

The Virginia players were very classy in defeat, they didn't wine and cry after the basket, and their Coach was gracious. They knew the effort put forth and the outstanding play that was made.
For all the Duke haters that cannot look at a play from both the offensive and defensive side, you can stick that "where the sun don't shine"!!
I am so proud of the guts and resilience that these kids have shown, there is no way in hell I'm going to let anyone take away the joy and pleasure they are giving this OF!!!!

Sorry for the diss...PNC arena Canes vs Caps. Caps fans (3) got into a scuffle with 2 dads because they were talking trash to these 5 yr old kids. I mean bad enough to have security sit in our section until the game was over and an escort to the vehicles for the two Canes parents. Maybe not all Caps fan but I've been to numerous Hurricanes games against the Caps and they're just pathetic and obnoxious to everyone around them whether they are winning or losing. Apologies to you for grouping you into that category and maybe not all are like that.
No worries buddy! That is serious crap; those caps fans needed their azz handed to them - sorry you had that experience. I promise we are a good bunch of people overall, hoping this is our year! No cup yet but it is on my bucket list!!

Hey guys, don't know if you have it in your area or not, or even know about it, but on Monday mornings (ESPNU), there is a show called "Crunch Time", in which they show the last few minutes of games that went down to the wire the previous week. Really great show, and you know that Duke-Virginia will be on it this week. It is an hour show, starting in the morning, and running every hour throughout the morning. Hope you get to see it, I know I will be glued to the TV.
