I think we pull this one out. We seem to be able to get big wins when needed. If we lose then we risk falling to a 3 or 4 seed. I think as long as we hold onto a 3 seed we'll be okay. The tournament will be about matchups for us. Today we right the ship.

Ok guys. I feel somewhat responsible for the WF loss. I assumed we would win fairly easily without the PTRF. I learned from this. The money is already in the officials pocket for todays game against UVA. It's out of my hands now. If we lose one...well lets just say it's gonna be hard to lose this one. ;) OFC

Question is, which Devil team shows up? Also, contrary to what some people are saying, Tre is not a veteran, he is still just a Sophomore, and he needs someone else to step up and help ease the pressure that is in my opinion, starting to take a toll on him.
I have never given up on any Blue Devil team, in any season, and I won't now! Duke will play together and get a much needed win tonight.

Moore Hurt and Stanley are key imo. Vern and Tre are consistent, but the other freshman have been very inconsistent and so has our team lately.

Heck no buddy!!! I can't this time. I just got out of counseling for the last loss. May have a relapse lol. I'll wait and check out the game thread around 8pm. If I see more than 6-8 pages, that's not a good sign lol. Tells me the elusive only bad game crew is present on the board. That's never a good sign lol.

Seems to be the MO....should be a motivator but does not seem to create any sense of urgency judging by past opportunities to win the title. Lets hope the 3rd time is a charm

Agreeed which is why i want to really see where our mindset is. But they have to do it multiple times in a row for me to believe it.

I don’t know man. On one hand I agree, but in the other, Hank Aaron did occasionally strike out. We gotta really think this through!! Can’t be too hasty!!!

Actually I think FSU would grab the #1 as they own the tiebreaker over Louisville, who owns the tiebreaker over us. But then again we own the tiebreaker over FSU. So actually I have not a friggin clue.

that's what I'm saying, we all have the tie breaker over one. How does that get decided? Do we win because we have the most handsome player of the three (Joey Baker)? A coin flip with a 3 sided coin?

That would leave us all at 16-4 with a circle of tiebreakers. So yeah.

I think it comes down to the most handsome player, realistically speaking.

I think if we win tonight we can win out the regular season. Of course the Carolina schools will shoot the lights out against us, but I think we win those 2.

Let's start by keeping your bad karma predictions/thoughts in your own home. Is that so hard to do for 3 games? Stop talking it into existence and just try to go with they will win out approach. It's not going to cost you anything to think positively for a change lol.

I think in a 3 way tie the best record in the games between the 3 teams is how they determine it...I could be wrong though...in that case wouldn't it be

FSU 2-1
duke 1-1
Louisville 1-2

In my experience at least, it helps to think negatively and set expectations low. Like a reverse jinx.
