Oh he absolutely stepped up. I thought he rebounded really well.
I hope everybody gets a little sleep before dawn! This OF is out of gas and ready to turn in, so I am tuning out.

AOC absolutely frustrates me, especially on defense. But he definitely did some good things that helped contribute to the win. Gutsy game.
I'm with you in AOC. He did lead the team in rebounding, all defensive.

I’ll give him his due props for the boards he did grab. Otherwise, he played piss-poor tonight. 2 turnovers from poor ball-handling. To top it off, he’s our lone shooting specialist and air-balled a corner 3 in a critical possession late game. I hate to hold the shot over his head but man, he was naked in the corner.
I love me some AOC, the kid’s got a sweet stroke but his defensive IQ needs heavy work. He intercepted a pass later in the game that was great but after excessively gambling the lanes and getting caught out of place possession after possession, it’s not worth applauding.
He’s playing fine given his game experience IMO. I’m not sure Cam is a huge step up except for the clutch factor.
Alex was not bad at all. 2-6 with 7 rebounds from a guy that picked splinters the last game.
Did he make some mistakes, sure. But who didn’t.

I have seen Cam, Zion, and Tre all air ball wide open 3’s. Not that big of a deal. Do we want him to knock those down, of course. Going from not having played at all to giving us heavy minutes tonight, I thought he did just fine
This team just finds a way to win. No two games ever look alike, but we just keep winning.
Was it noted that AOC was Duke’s leading rebounder?
Also note that Bolden started looking for his offense last night, at least on a few plays. If he keeps doing that, look out.

Duke also set an ACC record last night for blocks in a season, surpassing the 99 Duke squad.
I’m usually the guardian of AOC, he’s one of my favorites... Maybe I’m being harsh because it’s single-elimination but his defense was boiling my blood. VT surprisingly missed a couple of good looks that would have been at the expense of his defensive collapse.
I think he played well within the offense, he didn’t do anything terrible. I do feel bad about holding that 3 over his head... everyone misses, i was just highly disapointed in the moment
I ended up not being able to go, but damn what high level game that was!
Bolden was running with a purpose last night. He was huge in the second half.
Those boards and free throws were clutch. There’s not many on our team I want to see on the line late. Shockingly Bolden is near the top of the list. Good form and good stroke.
With limited time all season. He’s basically a newbie on the biggest stage

If I told you that either RJ, Tre, and Bolden was gonna knock down the 2 biggest free throws of the game, I'm sure everyone would have taken Bolden all day long lol
Why be negative towards Bolden? He does shoot free throws well for a big and this team. LOL
Bolden’s play last night reminded me of Jefferson’s Sweet 16 play from the 2015 NCAA Tournament game against Utah.
I wasn't being negative at all. But you'd tend to pick guards over centers to be better FT shooters...I love Bolden
No I agree Bolden was clutch. My point was really geared toward out guards have to knock those FT's down. The post was kinda tongue and cheek
Gotcha. I thought Tre was gonna knock both those down at the end since he is our best free throw shooter. I also felt confident about Bolden at the line.
Same...but since he knocked down 5 from down town and we won I forgive him lol

I’m paying for it too. Had some Captain Morgan to help me through the game last night. I’m about to start up again in the next hour or so for the White Sox game.
