Cut it to 13 with 2 great looks to cut it and get nothing. Theme all Game. I actually think Tatum needs to shoot more. NOBODY can guard Jason, things just aren't dropping for him.
I haven't seen many teams play out of their heads and make almost everything they throw up the way Va. Tech has today. Duke is just not together as of now.
You can't have all these guys in boots...braces...injured...and suspended...

I'm glad I'm in the OFC club so I'm not thinking about suicide after this game. This isn't the first nor the last time Duke has played horrible it's not the end of the world.
Matt Joness shouldn't be seeing the floor gping forward. I can't defend him anymore.
I think I'm done for today too. Bad stuff happens in college basketball from time to time and some of the reactions here have been far worse than anything the team has done. When Duke gets to the final four we'll all be here hugging so I'll take the disdain now. It is what it is. Our fans are no different than any other team's. Bad days happen.

We're not playing well, no one questions that, but VT has something to do with it.

Man, I love the intensity and hustle Amile generally brings to the game, but I don't know if I've ever seen a player fall down more.
Hah, Matt can't be blamed for what 4 other guys don't do. He shouldn't have to shoot and drive the way he has today. With no other options at guard, he's had no chance. NONE of this is his fault. NONE of it.
I don't know what has taken so long for fans to see this. He has not been a good player for four years now.
VT has played efficient ball, and Duke has not other than Kennard. We could lose by one or twenty, a loss is a loss. Learn and hopefully move on to the next game and she some heart.
Meh. I could care less about the last two games. Duke has played poorly very consistently after exams. If you can't come out with some intensity and a game plan against an ACC team that's top 25 caliber, after a 10 day game break, then you're doing it wrong.
Last statement I'll be making today .... Luke wasn't starting if we are all healthy this year. Matt jones was over him. Right there says it all about coaching this year.
We all know teams come out with their best game of the year against Duke, so I don't k ow why some are so pissed off,
I got your point, but we as fans, did treat Josh, Jabari, and Corey that way. Josh was selfish and immature. Jabari was soft. Corey was illegal and didn't belong at Duke. Fans can be harsh!
It is only one game, but I'm deeply concerned. I don't see Giles or Bolden making some dramatic turn anytime soon, who knows when Allen comes back. Matt Jones absolutely cannot shoot, it's a real problem. I'm just not sure where the major improvements come from

And I would be more worried if I thought this 'team' on display today was a finished product, but it isn't. We're probably going to take a few more lumps before it's over with, but our guys will come together, and I truly believe it will happen. Opposing fans better get their laughs in now, 'cause it will be tougher later on in the season.

100% agree! I understand being loyal to your upperclassmen but him starting Matt Jones and similarly Josh Hairston is taking things too far. I don't know why he does these things.
Let's get our second leading scorer back and get Harry in game shape and I bet this team changes things around.
Matt shouldn't be forced to shoot 10 times a game. I agree that does not help this team. I'll leave it at that for now as it's only January.
