I'd like to see us go back to the 1-3-1. Seemed like we had some success with that.

A lot of issues with the team as with most, but pg play on the offensive end and boxing out on defense have to be near the top.

It would be nice to see a little spurt these next four minutes. We can't get consecutive stops right now.

Thorntons scoring ability might be worse than the last Thornton we had and I cringed when he tried to scote

I agree with Show about Thornton.

I don't understand how someone with a handle like his can't create offensively..lump in he's not a good shooter and other than defense (which he's great at) he leaves a lot to be desired running a team.

We need some separation right here so Thomas doesn't become an end of game factor. I'd rather see their guards chucking shots.

Look at Tyus . He made passes that immediately put the shooter in a scoring position. Thornton almost never does, he's just out there passing the ball around. He's got to fix that.

I knew thornton's shot needed big work before the season, but i thought he would be awesome driving, he is not.

In Derryck's defense, I'm not sure it's fair to him being compared to maybe the most complete freshman PG in Duke's history....and we've had some pretty good one's.

I feel that Thornton is better than he is showing. He seems too timid. A couple nice drives this half.

In my defense, I wasn't comparing the two. Thornton couldn't carry Tyus' jock strap, I know that, I was giving an example of what he needs to be working on. He makes no pass that sets up a scoring situation, he just passes the ball to whoever is open.
